Ebonie Smith is an award-winning music producer, audio engineer and singer-songwriter. She is a 10-year in-house engineer at Atlantic Records, and the founder and President of Gender Amplified Inc., an organization founded to develop a pipeline for women and gender non-binary people to get involved in professional recording studios. Through events, networking opportunities and supportive programs, Gender Amplified provides a gender-inclusive platform that celebrates women music producers, raises their visibility and develops a pipeline for young women and gender non-binary people to get involved behind the scenes in professional recording studios. Smith also received Grammy Certificates for her work on ‘Hamilton’ (Original Broadway Cast Recording), Janelle Monáe’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Dirty Computer’ and Cardi B’s Grammy-winning album ‘Invasion to Privacy.’ Other top artists Ebonie has worked with include Charlie Puth, Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Kodak Black, Zoe Kravitz and many more. Ebonie holds a Master’s Degree in music technology from New York University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Africana Studies from Columbia University.
