Elizabeth Ntiamoah is the General Manager for Boomplay (Ghana), a renowned music streaming platform with offices in Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Prior to this role, she was the content acquisition manager with hands-on experience in public relations at a multinational firm. Elizabeth has always been passionate about music and the creative arts industry, as a whole. It is notable that a critical look at the music scene in Ghana during the past years have experienced Elizabeth’s influence—assisting musicians with press releases and submission of musical content to various platforms. She does this with the keenest and industry-centered point of view. One reason for her love for the arts evidently dates back to when she was a bachelor's student studying fine arts whiles learning a course in music theory and music therapy in the same institution. In her 4 years at Boomplay, she has aided in the rapid growth of the app and music streaming culture as a whole. Elizabeth has shared her knowledge on notable panels such as ACCES Music Conference, The Robert Smith Law Group on how to maximize Benefits as Creatives, British Council: Culture Forward, Creative Entertainment Support Program for emerging artiste, and Pop Kulter Documentary (Berlin). Following Boomplay’s strategy of supporting Ghanaian and African content, she has used her position to give young artistes an equal positioning on the platform which has resulted in the new phase of talents coming out of her home country taking global stages and investors seeing Ghana as “the” Creative Hub. “Lyza” as affectionately Known in the Music Space is set on developing new strategies that will propel the industry.
