About this speaker
From spending a summer on the entire cross-country Vans Warped Tour making digital content to interviewing talent on red carpets and running corporate social media accounts, Jessica Norton’s creativity and work knows no bounds. She wears many hats… both in her career and fashionably on her head. Jessica is currently creative directing the revival of the New Jersey-based Bambooze Festival while continuing to spearhead her media company, Camera By Her Side, which she founded at age 15. She also works as a freelance photojournalist, entertainment reporter, and fan engagement specialist for various publications and media companies such as MTV News, PopCrush, Alternative Press, Emo Night Brooklyn, and LiveNation, just to name a few.
After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Journalism, Jessica obtained a Master of Science in Media Management from The New School / Parsons. She currently resides at the Jersey Shore and when she’s not working at or attending a show, she can be found soaking up the sun in her beach chair or enjoying a crafternoon making things with her cricut.
