For over 10 years, Sania has been delivering (mixed-methodology) research to major corporate, government and non-profit clients.
Sania has led on AudienceNet’s music and entertainment-related work, for clients such as the IPO, IFPI, Sony, UMG, Warner, Spotify, Soundcloud, YouTube, the BPI and ERA, among others.
One of her main areas of specialism, within research and more broadly, relates to minority, and lesser heard groups. She works with clients, and also delivers industry-wide training, on optimising methodologies to ensure that research more accurately represents diverse populations.
Sania is also a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Intercultural practitioner. Along with providing training, she advises clients on engaging diverse populations, as well as addressing inequalities within society and the workplace.
She regularly presents at events and conferences on DEI, trends within music and entertainment, as well as research methodology.
Sania is also actively involved within the South Asian music and entertainment space. She regularly appears on BBC Radio to discuss related topics.
