Jonathan is a Senior Data Scientist at Nielsen, a Data Science, Machine Learning & Data Engineering Educator at Correlation One, and a Computational Social Scientist at UNC Chapel Hill.
He has 10+ years of applied statistical and data science experience with his areas of expertise including Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Applications. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of approaches including predictive and inferential statistics, regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, and network analyses. For every new project he encounters, he ends up learning new methods, new concepts, and new skills — the best part of this field is that you are always learning!
Jonathan has taught on the entire data pipeline and has guided/consulted on 100s of data science projects ranging from small-scale (<150 KB) to very large-scale (>1TB). Currently, he works with Correlation One teaching data science, data analytics, and data engineering, in some of the highest rated data education programs in the industry.
