I’ve been working with data since the early 90s, seeing the landscape grow from collecting very basic information about a product to the current big data arena. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with multiple teams including designers, data scientists, lawyers, software engineers, marketers, product managers, and analysts to build databases, tooling, processes, policies, and products. In my last role - at Amazon Music - I identified patterns of streaming fraud, and co-built a pilot to mitigate it using millions of rows of global streaming data whilst also managing the EU arm of the digital music catalog team; this included overseeing metadata enhancement programs, and working with engineers building and managing the end-to-end processes for the ingestion of millions of tracks per week.
